Overview:
We’re looking for a Sound Designer to elevate the audio experience of our sci-fi story videos. Your role will be to craft immersive soundscapes that enhance the storytelling—adding depth, emotion, and atmosphere through sound effects, ambient layers, and music. This is a full-time, ongoing role with steady work (2 videos per day).

• Add sound effects (lasers, spaceships, mechanical hums, ambient tones, etc.) to accompany and enhance the story’s visuals and narration.

• Integrate background music that matches each scene’s tone—tense, emotional, or awe-inspiring—while remaining subtle and unobtrusive.

• Polish narrator audio: clean, equalize, and enhance vocal clarity and warmth; apply light mastering for a professional final mix.

• Ensure smooth transitions between music, effects, and dialogue.

• Maintain precise timing so each sound cue supports the narrative flow.

• Balance all elements—voice, effects, and music—for a cohesive, cinematic sound mix.

• Collaborate with editors and producers to meet daily upload goals and maintain consistent quality.

• Proven experience in sound design, audio post-production, or mixing/mastering (portfolio or demo reel required).

• Proficiency with DAWs such as Adobe Audition, Reaper, Logic Pro, or similar.

• Strong understanding of subtle audio storytelling—knowing when to add sound and when silence enhances impact.

• Ability to work efficiently on tight daily deadlines while maintaining quality.

• Interest in sci-fi and narrative-driven audio projects.

• Reliable communication and organized file management for a fast-paced production workflow.

• Familiarity with YouTube content production or audiobook-style storytelling.

• Experience with spatial audio mixing or immersive stereo imaging.

• A creative ear for building worlds through sound.

• Full-time position; expectation: 2 completed videos per day.
