Nancy is Don's mother, she is a southern bell, and Edna Dickerson's best friend. They gossip and knit together regularly at each others houses. 

She is dedicated to her family like Edna but gets a little more flustered about her son's life choices. 

She plays in multiple episodes in the Flashback.

  • Oh, not at all, the ride over here was much longer, Donovan is the one who might mind though. His father was a complainer too.

  • Well this man, Edward Richardson, used to live here. He inherited a great deal of money from a great-uncle when he was 14, I think. So rather then spend it on land, his father sent him away to be educated.

  • That I can proudly say he got from me.
