Grace should sound cold and distant. She's imagined to sound almost spiteful in her tone no matter who she's speaking to. Simply having a casual conversation with her can be off-putting and make you weary of her. She's not subtle in the slightest and thinks nothing of expressing what's on her mind. She's fairly direct with her words and speaks with confidence.

Grace Ebbing is the second main protagonist in "Evermore" next to Carla Jae. Indirectly acting as an antagonist to CJ and her endeavors. As a child, she was involved in one of the first large scale escape attempts for developing Malignant. Herself, along with two other escaped subjects were taken in by a man they grew to call, Bubby. Grace soon began to consider the other two children as family with Bubby filling a type of father figure role. She quickly became contempt with their quiet way of life and had hopes everything would continue as is. However, with Bubby's passing and Grace (along with her self proclaimed siblings) being young adults, they had to choose what sort of path they would take when moving on in life. Majority vote decided they would help with the ever-growing issue  concerning Malignant. People were torn about their existence and violent protests erupted one after another. Grace, in her desire to remain by her family's side, reluctantly took up arms for the cause and later became the leader of the rebel movement after the death of a sibling. She had escaped before experiencing the procedure to become a Malignant, unlike her two siblings and was forced to prove herself by taking part in field ops if she were to lead. Grace is a person who feels cheated, everything she cherishes is sooner or later stripped away from her. Time after time, she is forced into undesirable situations to only be rewarded comprises for the things she truly wants. All the while being judged and ridiculed for her decisions and behavior. She doesn't desire such grand things like world peace, instead craving a quiet life with those she holds dear, even at the expense of those she'd consider strangers.
