The Main Protagonist of "The Chronicles of Prydain". A Young man, Cocky, courageous but occasionally can be foolish and rash. He has an intense desire to prove his worth to the people who doubt him and become a brave and strong sword wielding Hero. Though he can be undoubtedly foolish, Taran is very humble and his heart is in the right place. Both friendship and honor are very important to him. Even though he can be exceeding cocky, he turns incredibly shy when around girls. Despite his age, he likes to think of himself as an Adult. Earnest, serious, and sincere, able to express large range of emotion.
Accent suggests humble origins but not ignorant or coarse.
If I had my own sword, you could be teaching me sword-fighting...instead of this!
