I really loved how you delivered this monologue! It didn't matter what the product was. You made me want those free gifts!

Ah I love the energy you brought Newkirk! A classic take on the fast talking smooth saleswoman. The come on in section was very well done, slowing down a touch and dragging out the delivery had a great effect.

Projection was pretty good! A nice 6/10 boarding 7/10 during the louder sections of the read. I know you have it in you, I would have loved for the read to be on a whole closer to that 7/10. In a gym full of people this would be a volume where you could probably hear the speech happening but the volume was a little too quiet for everyone to be able to hear it clearly. So take some bigger breaths and send the lines out all the way to the people in the back! Nice work though, just know you have it in you to really fill out the room and command that attention!

As for pacing I would want us to take it down a notch. The speedy delivery fits the character but crucially we had a few stumbles and misreads that could have been caught and addressed moving at a slightly slower pace. Remember that a stumble or missed word caught within a recording saves you from needed to go back at a later date and re-record a section of script later on. Also through the read there was a bit of a frantic energy going on particularly near the ends of phrases. It felt like we could hear when you were starting to need air as you sometimes started to speed up. Just watch out for that in the future and try to keep a strong control over the script pace. Don't be afraid of slowing down a bit and giving yourself some more breath breaks, especially in a read where your projecting like this one!
