Hi Gina, thanks for submitting your HW for week 1!

You've got some nice clarity to your voice! I can hear some natural power in it when you're speaking at a normal level, and I think you could really push it out if you utilized your diaphragm more effectively. In the spots where you did attempt to "project", you pushed more air out with your chest instead of your diaphragm, which weakened the natural weight of your voice and made the "volume" of your speech sound less authentic.

You have a lovely mid-range/deeper tone to your voice that would absolutely BOOM if you used more of your diaphragm to project. Practice placing your hand on your core where your diaphragm is and pay attention to how it feels when you push the air out with your diaphragm rather than your chest. This will help you become more aware of when you are utilizing it effectively and when you aren't.

This is a pretty good read in terms of clarity and I can hear that you played around with the personality of the read a little bit. Keep up that experimentation with the tone in conjunction with your projection!
