HW Review:

Hey Welwinter! I like that you mixed up the energy a bit in this read. Fluctuating tone, energy, volume, ect. can make a longform script like this a lot more engaging to listen to (and more fun to perform).

That said, the boosts of energy sound a little off on account of the fact that most of your read is done so with lower projection and energy levels. The jumps in projection and enthusiasm are unexpected, but can be a bit jarring when the surrounding energy doesn't match or isn't naturally grown.

Think of it like you're walking up a flight of stairs. It would take someone by surprise if you suddenly jumped over 5 steps after having just walked up half the flight one step at a time. Is it entertaining? In the right context, sure, but without the right staging it just looks...strange.

If you want to play with sudden bursts of energy, then sprinkle MORE energy into the rest of the script/performance as well. Gradually work your way up to it and then ease your way back down rather than BURSTING upwards and slamming back down into a neutral level.

You've shown that you have the ability to project, which is great! So now practice projecting consistently rather than in sudden bursts so you can take control of your vocal flexibility.

This was a fun performance to listen to. I'm looking forward to seeing how you improve in the coming weeks!

Thank you, that's really insightful! I'm glad you liked it!
