I struggle with projection as well. You aren't alone! Very rarely do I need to speak very loudly lol I love the dynamics in your voice, though. With a script like this, I felt like it would be so easy to trudge along, but you kept my interest. Great job!

This is some amazing, infectious energy here! Even though I’ve heard this monologue a million times before, I felt like I couldn’t wait to hear what you had to say next! Great energy and great projection, you hit that sweetspot for me at a majority of the time, as the sweetspot I’m looking for is an 8, but there are points where you’re a little bit too much there and I’m going to ask you to dial it back as you’re hitting a 9 and it sounds like you’re yelling at the audience, which yelling and projecting are two different things.

I would say try to tighten up some of the pronunciations when it comes to some of the words, specifically on the word “Gourmet”.and “mileage” as they are pronounced closer to “Gore-May” and “Mai-ull-ige” respectively

One major thing that I am looking for when it comes to this is going to be your smile! It’s there at points and I would like to see that be a bit more consistent, as that can really help out with not trying to sound like you are yelling at your audience, which we want to avoid. We want to be heard and understood and we want to keep our audience engaged.

Be willing to slow down just a little bit too when it comes to these reads, as we want to allow our audience to be able to understand what you’re saying, if we give them too much information, and not a lot of chances for the audience to understand the information, they won’t be able to understand all of the information. So I would like you to not just slow down, but also experiment a bit more when it comes to the pauses.

Great work here though!
