Serena is the lead character, the story follows around her. She is new in town since her family moved to a different state, and she is nervous about starting freshman year around people she does not really no. She comes off as nervous when meeting people she does not know, and hates being bothered by others when they don't respect boundaries.

My name is Serena Hartley, everything in my life was going great so far. I had everything I would a good reputation, and amazing friends. And I was so so excited to start freshman year with all of my friends. That is until my parents had to move to a different state since my dad got a new high paying job. We had to leave everything, our old house, our hometown, and my friends. Now I am starting freshman year at a new school, and I know absolutely nobody. So it cannot get any worse then it already is.
