Juno is our main character. She is 17-19 years old. She lived in a world not dissimilar from our own except for the fact that paganism and witchcraft never left the cultural zeitgeist. Every girl in this society studies magic, witchcraft and the occult to some degree alongside with other studies and pursuits as it is believed that only women can perform magic. Juno, despite studying magic, has never seen anything to convince her of its existence and therefore does not believe in it, that is until the start of the show when she transports herself into the future from a spell a close friend of hers (cory) dares her to attempt.
