The Chronicles of Prydain - EP1 Book of Three (Part 1)
Xero for Gwydion (Gwih-Dyon)
Gwydion, despite his rugged and worn appearance, is actually a Prince. He is a mighty warrior and minor enchanter, carrying around the legendary sword Dyrnwyn that was given to him by Princess Eilonwy. Often described with wolfish imagery - so deep-voiced, gruff, possibly even growly when angry. Gwydion is a model of unclouded heroism. His judgement is always rational and well-balanced, his manner kindly and benevolent; even in his flashes of anger were righteous. Yet he is not without humor, revealing a wry and playful wit underpinning his dialogue with Taran.
(Chuckles) I see, I am not what you've imagined.
You are old enough to know that is not the clothes that make a prince...nor the sword the warrior.
But be easy, boy you have my pardon. Stand up.This is ill news indeed. My mission will fail if she is not recovered.
I have traveled a month from Caer Dathyl. I have been followed, spied on, hunted like an animal and now... (sighs)
Hen Wen possesses information that I required about The Horned King. You do not fear him, eh lad? Then you are a fool.
He is Arawn's sworn champion, and the most dreaded man in all of Prydain.
I have sworn an oath that when I meet him, one of us will die.
And only Hen Wen can tell me how he may be defeated. She MUST be found.
