Asukasei Hino (日野 明日晴 Hino Asukasei) is a minor character featured in Danganronpa/Zero and Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope's Peak Academy - Side: Despair.

Asukasei was part of the Hope's Peak Academy's Student Council, as well as a participant in The Tragedy of Hope's Peak Academy.

He murdered Tomohiko Goryoku, Suzuko Kashiki, and may have murdered Karen Kisaragi.

At first, he appeared to be the only survivor (though it's later revealed that Soshun Murasame had survived as well). In the end, Asukasei seemed to cause his own demise; he was approached by Izuru Kamukura, who warned him and appeared to have no intention to harm him. However, despite this, Asukasei decided to attack him. This lead to Izuru striking him against the wall in self defense, which indirectly caused Asukasei's death, as the boy fell on his own chainsaw and had his head mostly severed.
