Vince is a elder. He grew up as a warrior and helped fight in the war/against the phoenix. He used to be playful, and fun and always goofed around with Melody, and Joyce when they were younger. He disappeared for a while, until he got a visit. He's losing faith, and his youth.
"Run off kids, I'm busy right now." (Oldish, tired kind of tone)
"Hello? Who are you?" (Raspy, confused voice)
"The phoenix. That's what it's called. They've been picking a fight with us for decades. Theres nothing you can do. I used to help out, but I'm far too old." (Serious, nostalgic, tone.)
This was great! The expressions were perfect and you were wonderful at doing a raspy, old voice which people usually have a hard time with.
