He believes he is a koala bear.

I want his voice to sound like a very mellow, slightly confused surfer dude who just woke up from a 14-hour nap and may or may not be a literal koala.

  • Tone: Incredibly laid-back, spaced-out, and perpetually calm, even in the face of certain doom.

  • Pitch: A low, rumbling bass or baritone.

  • Pacing: Agonizingly slow. His words are drawn-out, with long, thoughtful pauses between them as if the effort of speaking is a marathon. He should sound like he's always about five seconds away from falling back asleep. His speech is occasionally punctuated by soft, koala-like clicks or grunts.

  • (Yawns) "Cool... cool. Hey, you got any snacks? Dueling makes my tummy rumble. It's like... a little koala in there... asking for cheese."

  • "Time is like... cheese, Alexis. Sometimes it's sharp... sometimes it's mild. You just gotta, like... let it melt, you know? He'll be fine. Probably."

  • "Whoa... that's like... a lot of words, pops. You're kinda harshin' my mellow. You wanna... split a sandwich? It's... cheddar."

I did two takes, the second one is much slower and slightly deeper than the first too

    I honestly like the 2nd take even more cause thats sorta the way I want his character to be. The lazy slow talker, he also thinks he is a koala bear.
