Akishima is a half human/half oni woman in her mid 20s. She is happy and outgoing, but equally enjoys relaxing on her own as much as she does socializing with others. She is passionate about her professional work as a "Scryer", tracking down evil magic users, but also loves her hobby, being part of a wrestling team called "Maelstrom".

(Entering the wrestling ring, calling out her opponents): Prepare yourself for the power of thunder and tides - time to enter the Maelstrom!
(Out on the town, internal monologue): This restaurant is the bomb! I gotta send a thank you note to my friend!
