Zo3ie for Frieda Swanson
Frieda Swanson is a stage-ready mini–magician, trained by her dad and armed with coin palms, scarf vanishes, and a show-stealing eyebrow. Offstage she’s an enigma—silent by choice, razor-observant, and fiercely protective—letting her hands, smirks, and perfectly timed quips do the talking.
Age: 10
Nationality: American
Gromit (Wallace & Gromit)
Ferb (Phineas and Ferb)
Silent Bob (View Askewniverse)
[Trying to think of something to say] *Thinking gestures* Yeah... I got nothing, sorry
[Short-film critique] If I had notes, I’d say them. I don’t—so… nice work. (walks off)
[Frieda mimes a wagging tail, a van, scribbles a rectangle (license plate), points urgently. Valerie doesn’t get it. Frieda pinches the bridge of her nose, then grabs Valerie by the collar and finally speaks—fierce, loud, breaking the silence] The SIGN on the back of the VAN said HAPPY TAILS ANIMAL RECOVERY, you DINGBAT!!! [She releases, exhales, and mimes “after you.”]
Hi Zo3i3! Thanks so much for reaching out and auditioning!
Starting with notes: the second line felt a bit rushed, and the third could use more intensity—think the quiet kid finally snapping and letting it all out.
That said, wow! This was a fantastic read overall—you sound incredibly close to how we envisioned her, with just the right mix of calm composure, valley-girl edge, and that subtle undertone of someone who isn't used to talking much.
Wonderful work, and thanks again—we really appreciate it!
