World of Craziness
Zo3ie for Alex McKessie
Alex McKessie is Darwin’s brilliant but socially awkward little sister, a scientific influencer who spends more time tinkering in her lab than hanging with people. Equal parts robotics mastermind and mad scientist, Alex is just as unhinged as her brother—if not more—especially when her inventions inevitably go haywire.

[Revving up her newest invention] At last… the calculations are perfect, the power stable, the world at my fingertips! Heh…heh-heh… HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! …Now, FIRE!
[Presenting her experiment] Ok, class. Prepare to be ASTOUNDED! Made directly from my lab, I present (pulls sheet off cage) … Oh... It got out... Welp! (Claps hands, cheerfully nervous) You MIIIGHT wanna cover your orifices—y’know, eyes, ears, mouths—PRONTO!
[On the phone with a friend, fighting for her life against her own experiment] Oh—ack!—hello? Oh hiii!...Hang out? Oh, I’d love to, really, but I’m just a TEENSY bit—grrhh!—tied up at the moment! Ya know, just taking care of one of my experiments—back, BACK!—(awkward laugh) call ya back!
Hi Zo3ie! Great to see you auditioning for more characters!
Let’s jump in: the first line delivery was solid, though the laugh could use more of that maniacal mad scientist flavor—don’t be afraid to draw it out and let it spiral a bit! The second line could use a touch more nervous energy near the end; think cheerful panic, like she’s trying to convince herself everything’s fine. For the third line, remember—she’s fighting for her life. It sounded a little too casual, so more urgency and chaos in your tone would really bring it to life.
There were a few small word stumbles, but overall it was a fun and lively read! We can definitely see your voice working for Alex with a bit more nervous range and energy. Thanks again!
