Fred and Pals: A Five Nights a Freddy's 1 - Reimagining
Jack Verhage for William Afton - Yellow Rabbit
🎠Role: William Afton / “Yellow Rabbit” (Antagonist, Voice Only)
William Afton is the true villain hiding behind the pizzeria’s cheerful image. Known only by his alias “Yellow Rabbit” when he first appears, he slowly reveals himself as the sinister mind behind the horrors of the story. Unlike the helpful Phone Guy, Afton is manipulative, dangerous, and enjoys toying with others. His words drip with charm at first, but there’s always an edge, a sense that something is deeply wrong underneath.
Personality & Style:
Charismatic but unsettling — he can sound friendly, almost fatherly at times, but it never feels genuine.
Calculating and manipulative — he knows what to say to get under someone’s skin.
Often slips between a smooth, confident tone and a more sinister, unhinged voice when his mask cracks.
Should be played with restraint — the menace comes from what he doesn’t say as much as what he does.
Voice Direction:
Preferably similar to Matthew Lillard’s style in the FNaF movie: friendly but with a creepy undertone, able to escalate into unhinged menace.
Mid-to-deep range, capable of both smooth charm and frightening intensity.
Open to creative interpretation as long as the actor can balance charm + menace.
Example vibe: Imagine someone who could sell you an ice cream cone with a smile, and then make you regret ever meeting them a second later.
