Cherie and Carey
Chris VA for Carey
(Seeking out Black voice actors for this character)
Carey is a relatively ordinary person compared to the majority of students in his high school, especially compared to Cherie. Beyond the surface, however, is his ability to adapt to whatever circumstances life presents. This ranges from keeping pace with building devices as Cherie’s co-inventor, to using his quick-wit and environment to ensure Cherie’s safety from whatever bad spot her head strong nature tends to drag them to. Carey doesn’t mind all this for the simple reason that their buddies. While this does make him loyal to a fault, he also believes Cherie is a good person and would often steer her into doing some good things while they commit schemes. Even if Carey doesn’t share the same desire for popularity as his friend, that doesn’t mean he’s willing to help her out alongside others with similar bouts of popularity.
I'm looking for an actor that can do a mid-low voice for Carey. He's 15, so I don't want his voice to be too deep. However, even though this isn't a high priority, if you voice teenage boys with a high pitch/androgynous voice I'm willing to consider it, so don't be afraid to audition if you typically audition teenage boys with that voice range!

Trouble always shows up but it never catches us. Cops try to cuff us, hunters haven’t gotten their bounties anytime soon, and that one sorcerer tried to have us as sacrifices. What does catch up to us is in school suspensions. Pretty easy when your name is on the system.
Even if everyone thinks they’re cool, that doesn’t mean no one thinks you are. Is the fame really worth it if you can’t be yourself?
I know Cherie tends to drag the both of us into trouble, but i wouldn’t give that up for a second if it means we’d never met. No one’s as imaginative as she is, and i get to help her invent whatever crazy idea pops out of her spikey haired mind! But, between that and the heart pounding adventures we go through, nothing’s more fun than sitting down and marathoning through another season of Wife Throw.
