Be careful of the pronunciation of “Ruddlan” the first syllable, “rudd” is closer to rhyming with “dud” 

This read feels safe, I'd like to see a bit more change ups, there are some tempo changes here and there, but the tone is overall the same. The emotion feels about the same,as this feels the same-y read with a smile with it. Which is still good, but let's try and change things up. This goes into my next point

I'm having trouble seeing the intention with this read, you explain in your description that you want to tell them about something “wholesome and positive for once” and this is not apparent in your read, maybe adding a bit more annoyance when it comes to this read and then slowly adding more happiness, if you're trying to change a mood from something that we, the audience, might not have seen, this needs to be more apparent when it comes to the read. We need to see it more through playing with different emotions.
