IlyaK for Kiel
Kiel is a main character but will not appear in a lot of episodes at the beginning. He's a gentle man who is smug sometimes but can be serious when he has to be. He's also a scientist but mostly helps out like an assistant, especially in planning of tests, plans for the experiments, etc. Kiel's in a relationship with Jonah and later adopts a girl named Yuki. He's a few years (2-5) years older than Jonah.

"Yeah I brought her here... but hey, at least Myla could have some contact with other kids. We don't have any other child experiments here after all." (Slightly guilty at the beginning, but then proud of himself for coming up with the idea)
"Jonah where are you- JONAH!! GET YOUR ASS BACK HERE!!" (worried, mad, annoyed)
