Stardust is wise, curious, and dedicated to his craft, but he also feels a sense of burden and pressure from his position as Prince. He is passionate about magic and the mysteries crystals hold. Stardust strictly relies on crystals to make his magic stronger.
Stardust is a Spellborn born alicorn, son to Princess Twilight Sparkle, the Great Wizard Stygian. Stardust was named after Starswirl, Twilight's idol from fillyhood. His hunger for knowledge insatiable. Stardust spent his early childhood studying his father's hobbies with him: the stars, astronomy and divination. Later in his teens, Stardust discovered the magic encased in precious gems and studied their capability to hold, transform and control magic.
