Nice read Collin! I like your character voice for this small town local, just remember not to sacrifice your fundamentals during your read! I think we were going just a bit too fast for our reading speed and there was a bit of stumbling through the script as well as some muddling of our clarity and pronunciation. If you notice yourself tumbling through the script, go ahead and slow down. Take in the jumble of tongue twisting sentences, and tackle them only as quickly as you can pronounce cleanly. Were this to be an audition to send, we would also want to run it back for a cleaner take and be mindful that slowing down within a sentence you are reading comes off very strongly that you are reading something and not performing something. Whatever pace we choose, we want to have total control over that pace! Speeding up and slowing down as a choice during the performance of our character, and not in response to stumbling a little through reading a section of the script. It's totally fine to stumble! We just want to make sure we go back and re-record those sections and get them nice and clean before moving on.

Also, watch the pronunciations on these town names. These are all real towns and we don't always get pronunciation guides! Never hesitate to look up a pronunciation before going into a script.

Great effort and read here Collin, fun character voice and scene description!
