This read starts off fairly rushed, like you’re very excited to get into the read and it causes some misreads within the first sentence.. The sentence was “Peter Padderton was a peculiar little boy who loved molding models” and this was read as “Petter Paddington was a particular little boy who loved modeling models”. Be careful with that, slow down and make sure you’re more comfortable with the script, make sure each word gets their own attention, as you can change the intent of the script.

The pacing is fairly fast at the beginning, but as you get to the list of things that Peter had drawn it does slow down significantly. Try to start a bit slower when it comes to the beginning as the faster pace is too fast to have the listener retain their attention when it comes to the read. And if you are, please try to experiment more with pauses, take longer pauses when it comes to reading in general if you’re going to read with a fairly faster read, there’s a need for more pauses so it allows the script to breathe, and allows the listener to catch up and understand the amount of information that has just been given to them.

When it comes to the pauses that I can hear in the latter half of this read, Each sentence sounds segmented from each other especially towards the end of the overall read. Try your best to transition and slowly let the sentences flow into each other, as this tends to sound like some of these sentences were stopped and recorded. Try to let the sentences flow like you’re having a conversation, think of how we tell stories to friends, how we stop and go so they can allow themselves to understand, how we keep ourselves going by just again, letting the sentences flow.

Good pronunciation and enunciation, next on the docket is the energy levels and on us getting to that conversational feel. Good work!
