I’m looking for a composer who's willing to help me write and compose a 1920-1930's inspired song for my short film. The song lyrics are already established, I need help with someone composing the instrumentals and helping me with the tempo. Must be willing to work within a student budget ($400), and can deliver a final by October 30th.
Linked is a playlist with the inspired mood and vibe that I imagine for the song:
I want the song to be dark, eerie yet with a touch of romance. A jazz ballad, as I imagine it as a slow but tension filled foxtrot dance between the two characters, with musical motifs more reminiscent of modern music, Broadway musicals and Gatsby-esque aesthetic.
Genre: 1920 Jazz, Foxtrot ( 4/4 time signature )
Instrumental: Typical big band instruments
Must be located in NYC or have access to professional equipment.
