HW Review
Hey, nice work on your projection! The pacing you've chosen works well for the most part. You can absolutely allow yourself to quicken and slow the pacing in some spots to fit the narrative of the scene that you are trying to create.
Something to keep in mind; vary the rhythm of your reads.
Think of the script as if it were sheet music that you are writing with your voice. You don't want the "notes" of your voice to be making the same three or four sounds over and over again. Mixing up your "notes" will keep the listener more engaged over a longer script like this one.
A good example of you changing up your rhythm is the performance at 0:35-0:46.
You lose your projection a bit at 1:27. This is a more frantic "I can't believe this is happening!" scene where you could really amp up that energy, project more, and speed up the pace to better match the absurdity of what's happening in the scene.
As a part of the HW, I want you to also consider the scene a bit more. Who is your audience? Is this a live event you are narrating? What is your role exactly? Why are YOU the one narrating this sports reel?, and so on. Considering the answers to questions like this will support your performance.
Your articulation falters in a couple of spots, but you're fairy clear for the majority of the script and I think you more or less hit the mark for what your intention was for the scene. Overall, this is a pretty great read! Nice work!
