Wei is a quiet and kind man, taking the time to respect Hong Lu despite the former's generally negative status within the family he works for, wishing the man well regardless. He is highly responsible, assigned to escorting Jia Xichun on many occasions.
later on upon hearing the news of Xichun's kidnapping, Wei actually mutate back to his Heishou Pack self, becoming monster-like in his frenzied state. At the site, he failed to find Xichun, senselessly slaughtering Si branch members.
