Cain is a fake psychic with a charming confident showman personality in front of others-- but it's really just an act. Underneath the façade, he is genuinely lonely, depressed, filled with guilt and self-hate.

Even though his work as a fake psychic is technically a grift (and how most everything anyone knows about him is a lie or a performance), Cain still has the best intentions at heart in all he does, even when he doesn't like to admit it to himself. He's simply very skilled with deduction and reading people, while acting like it's a psychic power (so much so, in fact, that sometimes he is hired by the police to help with cases).

Cain Salvatori is an early 30's male with a general American accent. Billy Kametz's & Alejandro Saab's work as Macaque in Lego's Monkie Kid is a good reference, clips can be found here.

This is a lead character for an upcoming audio drama series. However, this casting call is simply for fun and just to dub a silly side comic into an animatic that we've made along the way. There is no guarantee that the VA hired for this call will ultimately be hired for the audio drama proper.

In this particular dub, you'll have a total of about six (6) short lines. In it, Cain is cooing at his cat (a talking orange cat named Murder) about how stinky he is, not realizing someone else is in the room. Doll, his friend, overhears and wonders if she too wins the stinkiest boy award. It's very short, very silly. Sometimes you just need a short silly fun thing to do between all of the heavy serious work in life, ya know?
