HW Review:
Before I go into the review for the HW assignment, there's a couple of things I want to point out to you for your recording.
You've got some very heavy plosives in your recording. This happens when puffs of air hit the mic and cause a "boom" to come through in your recording. Plosives often cannot be edited out and can even render audio completely unusable. Space yourself back from your mic, use a pop filter, angle the mic or your head in a way so that your breath isn't hitting it directly, and/or hold your finger or a pencil in front of your lips so that it further breaks the air apart before it hits your mic. All of these methods can reduce the risk of a plosive happening.
Turn up your gain. Your audio is incredibly quiet. Since you will want to space yourself from your mic a bit for the plosive issue, you will definitely want to also up the gain on your mic so that you come through clearly.
The steps above will up the quality of your recording audio.
Onto your HW review. Nice job with your articulation! Your T's are soft, but clear. The pacing is a little quick. You can slow down a little so you can give more attention to other parts of the script. I like how "relaxed" the performance is overall. It suits the storybook genre of this script.
As a reminder, when you fumble, be sure to stop, pause, and restart the line from the beginning of the sentence or from the nearest natural pause. When you are not sure how a word is pronounced (like propitiated), you can look up how to pronounce it. This will make editing for you or an audio engineer much easier.
Thank you for submitting your HW for week 2!
