Moony for Jess - Narrator
Title: Confessions of a Data Junkie
Role: Narrator (Jess)
Jess is a hacker with a complicated past, attending a recovery meeting for addicts — data junkies, cyberjunkies, people burned out by their own vices. She listens to their confessions before making one of her own, one with devastating consequences.
This story mixes dark humour with horror and social commentary. The narrator must balance wit, weariness, and vulnerability, guiding the audience through bleak yet often absurd truths.

We avoid eye contact, lying to ourselves and each other, pretending that we are still human, that we can still function without cyberspace, without the matrix of which we all obey. This is your brain off drugs. This is your soul unplugged.
No more internet, no more virtual reality, no more hiding behind screens and avatars, no more digital escapes from your pathetic lives. This is it, the end of the digital age, the end of the internet, the death of the world as you know it.
