HW Review:

Beautiful clarity. Your read is crisp and well-paced. However, there is no projection in this performance. Projection was a key point of practice for this specific script, so I will be critiquing it as such.

You start out at such a soft level that it could be considered a loud whisper. I feel as though you are carefully maintaining the volume of your voice throughout most of the performance, which means you are somewhat deliberately holding yourself back.

Get loud, expend more energy, and be more excited! Utilize that diaphragm! Your voice is the hardened surface of a volcano that just needs the right amount of push from below so that it can BOOM! (and that push is going to come from your diaphragm!)

I'd like for you to listen to some power ballads and really listen to how the vocalists utilize their diaphragms to push their voices out. Find some tutorials on Youtube on how to use your diaphragm (singers are a great source for this) so you can better familiarize yourself with how your diaphragm works and how you can use it to your benefit as an actor when you need to project.
