Paul is Delilah & Blake’s Dad. He’s very much a work alcoholic and has never really been in their lives. He’s quite a closed off person and doesn’t really like showing his love for his children, but he will show it to them through gifts to deal with his guilty conscience for not being there for them. (You can make this character more your own and do character development and tell us more so when we write the scripts we can include your interpretation)
(Awkward) - "We'd love to stay, kids, but your mum and I have to go back to New York for the big opening, Chef ralph will look after you."
(Distant/Not focusing) - "Yeah yeah, uhh huh. Of course ill be there for the big game- UGH NO NO NO DONT DIE ON ME NOW!! Stupid phone."
(Awkward but some sympathy) - "I'm sorry we couldn't make it to your birthday, but we got you the car you've always wanted, with a few extra gifts inside.. Happy birthday sweetie."
