Where Quincy and Caleb are opposing sides of the same neurotic coin, Spencer is the middle part that can’t be landed on who holds them together: the everyman, the bounce light which all inanities reflect off.
Weighing in at an impressive late twenties, he’s down-to-earth, generally calm, though not above expressing annoyance with his aberrant crew. He wants to get his work done and done right, which is often more of a hurdle than it should be, leading to some high-strung moments.
Being the oldest of the group, he carries a vague wisdom and “lived” quality about him, like a dad that occasionally, without warning, drops hints of past hardships you’ve never heard of.
