Toby’s voice sits in a mid-range tone, clear and youthful but not squeaky. There’s a slight roundness and softness to it that matches his kind nature and heavier build. When he’s nervous, he tends to mumble or let his sentences trail off, giving the impression he’s unsure of himself. But when it really matters, his words come out steady and heartfelt, with a surprising firmness. His voice isn’t commanding like Max’s instead, it has a gentle, relatable quality, the sound of someone who’d rather avoid trouble but will stand his ground if a friend needs him.
