Beginning

In a conference room of the Anti-Aethers' home dimension, TITAN and the Brotherhood are busy planning their next move.

Middle

They go over their most recent acts, which include two years ago, when they abducted a human-Aether hybrid, unrevealed as Luna's older sister, for stasis experiments, and one year later, they killed the last pure Aether, not revealed as Luna's father, via a staged road incident. Suddenly, an alarm goes off to announce that one final Aether, this time another human hybrid, unrevealed as Luna herself, was detected but not yet located or identified, ending this scene on a cliffhanger as TITAN gives the other meeting attendants a silent nod as they already know what to get done, to which they head off to finish the job they started.

End

Meanwhile, on Earth, in her bedroom, a fifteen-year-old Luna, wearing her PJs of a T-shirt, shorts, and slippers, and unaware of her status as a human-Aether hybrid, thanks to her late father and widowed mother keeping it secret from her, is using a bathroom mirror to rehearse for her first day of high school the following morning. However, her widowed mother yells from downstairs, while offscreen, for Luna to get to bed, as it is late at night. Luna complies, but not before shedding a tear at a photo of herself as a young child, her mother, her deceased father, and her currently missing older sister, sadly wondering on what had happened to the latter two and why, suspicious that it was no mere accident.
