Magneto, born Erik Lehnsherr, is a powerful mutant with the ability to control magnetic fields. A Holocaust survivor, his traumatic past fuels his belief that mutants must dominate to survive. Often cast as both villain and antihero, he oscillates between ruthless adversary and reluctant ally to the X-Men in his fight for mutantkind’s future. This is a small cameo appearance but he will likely appear down the line in future projects. Magneto is of German Jewish heritage, should have a fitting accent.
