Abridged Byakuya is a lot quieter than his anime counterpart. Byakuya now constantly tries to look cool, and mutters to himself whenever he messes up. The joke is that he's way too self-conscious about what people are thinking about him, and he talks to his sword whenever he's stressed. As I said all of his lines are very quiet. He's mumbling most of his sentences.
