The Rookie (Halo Fan Film)
MattReilly for Wombat Drone Operator (Any Gender) [Longer Role]
- Wombat Drone Operator (Custom): The ‘final’ voice will be a Wombat Drone Operator, these drones can be seen during ODST (one crashes in front of Dutch in his mission and becomes a clue for Rookie to find). As I have a camera drone myself I believe it would be most fitting to use it and add to the feel of the film by incorporating an overwatch. To pair with this drone, I would like to find someone to voice a much more lengthy role than any of the above, which would involve providing radio callouts and field intel to the Rookie. I will be looking to edit this voiceover with a radio style and possibly be seeking a somewhat more flat voice for the role. However, added flair will be welcome!

These lines are really really giving me a Nolan North vibe, how well do you think you may be able to replicate the voice of the character he plays in ODST; Romeo?
Pretty confident I could do something halfway accurate. I've always had a special spot in my heart for ODST. It was the first game I ever bought with my own money, meant to buy Halo 3 but got mixed up. Happy to have any small role in this project.
If you're able to, I'd be keen to hear it! I believe I included a line for Romeo in the "impressionists" role. Otherwise, hearing all of the characters you've provided and the difference between them gives me a good feeling about having a spot for you in the project. As I've mentioned to many others I think I'm planning on adding back in previously cut characters, I'll likely design them around your voices as a result, I'm really happy with how great your auditions have been!
