Lucifero is the most powerful devil in the Black Clover universe, residing at the deepest level of the Tree of Qliphoth. His immense magic power poses a catastrophic threat to the human world. Lucifero's abilities include Gravity Magic, which allows him to manipulate gravity to crush his opponents, and spatial manipulation, enabling him to warp space to evade attacks and disorient foes. Despite his formidable powers, he lacks refined combat skills, relying heavily on brute strength and overwhelming magic to dominate his adversaries.

Personality-wise, Lucifero is arrogant and cruel, viewing humans and lower-ranked devils as insignificant. He is quick to anger, punishing even minor offenses with extreme violence. However, he acknowledges the strength of those who manage to harm him, such as Asta, Nacht, Yami, and Yuno, crediting them for their resilience.

Lucifero's ultimate goal is to bring destruction to the human world by fully manifesting through the Qliphoth Advent Ritual. Although he was temporarily halted by Asta and his allies, his defeat did not mark the end of his threat. His heart was stolen by the devil Adrammelech, leaving open the possibility of his return.
