The Rookie (Halo Fan Film)
ChrisC_VO for 1st Sergeant D.C. Beyo
- Alpha-Nine Handler (Custom): Gear outfitter for the squads of the UNSC 'Say My Name', the voice of a friend, but also someone who’d knock some sense into you if you did something stupid. They will be gearing The Rookie up for his drop into New Mombasa (since the cadet lost his old gear in Dirt), as well as introducing him to Alpha-Nine, the squad led by GYSGT Buck he joins in the game. For this character they’ll need a certain quality as if knowing this may be these troopers last mission, a convincing demeanour that would ease Rooks mind that this gear will help him make it through to sunrise. I’ll also attempt to use this handler to mention Operation: Joint Monitor, a mission we know very little about, which apparently saw Alpha-Nine with the same members as Halo 3 ODST containing the flood exclusion zone in Voi at the end of the Human-Covenant war. Allegedly, no flood was detected, but a mission like that, surely that fact needs undoing...

BDU's one of our backups, we dont have time to get you set-up with your own. Everything but your name tag will be someone elses, that includes your MED REF, so, hope you've got no allergies.
This is you, Alpha-Nine reports to Gunnery Sergeant Buck, you can wait for him here. And hey, good luck.
We're calling it Operation: JOINT MONITOR, biohazard containment protocols are in effect in Voi, and you? You're heading down to assist. You know what that means.
Glad you liked my direction haha, loving the accent, yourself and another both have that hint of irish in your auditions for the handler and tbh its now how I hear the character in my head. I think thats all I really need to say haha, basically means you've done a fantastic job convincing me I'm in the world. Really immersed me in the character! Thanks for auditioning, it's gonna be a tough decision, but I'm confident you'll have a good shot at this character, and even if not, your other audition is awesome too! I'll keep you posted on the result, and thanks again!
Thank you so much! I'm glad my Northern Irish accent fits what you had in your head! Really glad to hear it, and whatever happens, I look forward to seeing the project come together! (Thank you for the comment, too!)
My apologies, Northern Irish, still awesome either way! Your audition will definitely be in the back of my mind while I make new characters too!
