Sage is initially cold and calculating, making decisions solely considering projections and logical analysis. She expresses caution when attempting to preserve Dr. Eggman's safety by keeping him in Cyber Space, and while unempathetic, warns Sonic the Hedgehog to leave the Starfall Islands to escape the impending threat. As her bond with Dr. Eggman grows, however, she becomes more caring, experiencing familial love, and even telling jokes.
