To a Happier Year - Pilot
Leaf for Rose
A supporting character. In the pilot she has a very minor role, but becomes very important later on in the story. Only has 7 lines in this ep. Here's what she looks like. She's a lady from the 1920's with a lot of passion and a lot of scorn. She's very smart, but not very good with people most of the time, and also she's a woman, so she often gets dismissed without much of a thought. This frustrates her a lot, but it motivates her to give a helping hand to others who are at a disadvantage as well.

(Concern) Mister, you ought to eat somethin'. A frail fella like yourself- you really... you really ought to eat somethin'.
(Angry, after getting fired) I'm not done! You were lucky to have hired me! You're an absolute fool. A goddamn, no good fool!
