However, once he was bonded with the Carnitrix, Ben became depressed after seeing the countless deaths he had caused. Those traumatic experiences he had witnessed at such a young age made Ben start to develop ptsd

I'm doing it because I know what it's like. To be on your own in a tough situation you never chose to be in. I didn't ask to be stuck with this. It just happened. And no one who isn't me knows how that feels
