He is sometimes referred to as the "Healer of Striga" due to resolving issues his father's reign established. He is a passionate enjoyer of the arts and generally tolerated among the people (there are still parties that detest him). While he may not be a good king, he is still a better king than his father and, coming from a place of arrogance and opulence, a spoiled child, he learned to take responsibility when he was forced into reign after his father's sudden death.
