Mai Foshu is the first Area leader, and she uses Fire "Type" Monster Spirits. She is pretty confident in her abilities and loves to toy around with people. Her backstory is that one day while her mother was praying, a lighting bolt hit her, but instead of granting her mother powers, it transferred all of his force into Mai, which then gave her fire powers. How does that work? Well, its more or less the heat generated from the bolt fused with Mai's body, giving her body the ability to generate heat that's able to burn things.
