Aleta Ritchie - (A-let-a Rit-ch-y) :

A 16 year old girl who was casted out of her village, threatened to be burned at the stake for her for her "sins" in practicing witchcraft. Aleta can get excited easily but when intimated she will shrink down but will only gain bravery if the person insults her. She has a low temper for assholes, but besides that, she is a reckless yet determined teen!

  • *nervous, slightly intimdated* "M-my name? Well... uh... it's Aleta Ritchie. *slight pause, listening to Mara* A-a familiar? I'm sorry... I don't actually know wh-

*cut off, because of Mara laughing, making Aleta a bit ticked off* H-hey! Don't laugh at me! I can't help that I don't know everything about witchcraft! That's why I'm here in the first place!

  • *looking through Mara's stuff; much to the woman's dismay* And what's in this chest? ... Heads? You can't be serious! *say the next part with bravery* Yeah! I'll open the chest! I mean, you can't be keeping heads! You just don't look like the type to do that!" *imagine Aleta about to open the lid but suddenly Mara screams, causing Aleta to reply with a scream in fear then in a rage-filled voice* OK THAT WAS RUDE! I nearly had a heart attack!

  • *whispering* "/That's/ a witch hunter? I mean, besides the crossbow, they don't seem /that/ scary..."

Judging from your audition, you seem like you really want this role, so I'm going to give some advice! Make sure to practice your lines well before making your recording, this way you don't sound like you and clicking back to read the lines on the audition. If you need a reference for your lines, I'd recommend dragging Audacity/the recording program you use to the bottom left/right side so you are able to read off the lines. I'm wondering, what mic do you use? If it's a plug in/head set always make sure in Audacity it's the correct mic, sometimes Audacity will switch to your built in mic! I hope none of this came off as rude, I'm wanting to help you for any future roles you take, so you get a good part in them!
