Donahue was always a bit of a loser who thinks he’s cool. He’s in a band, wears sunglasses indoors, and keeps his feelings to himself for the most part. James is his best friend. Deep down, he’s actually very sensitive and he went on this trip because he wants to do some good for the world. Can have a midwestern American dialect, but I'd also love to hear a take in an Irish accent as well.
I never really thought of myself as being smart. I mean, I’m smart enough to be here. But I just… I don’t know. I feel like nobody really knows me. Not really, at least. I just… I don’t wanna die here. I’m scared and I’m actually admitting that. I don’t know how I possibly couldn’t be. You know, I used to have stage fright. Really. My hands would get all sweaty and it’d be hard to hold my guitar and I’d basically black out until the show was over but right now, I’d give anything to be on a stage again. Or in some dive bar. Hell, even a nursing home rec room. I had a good life and I took it for granted.
