He's inspired by multiple different media personalities. The bluntness of Howard Stern and the strange guests of Jerry Springer that Eric Cross is noticably either uncomfortable speaking to or confused, but attempts to handle. He is sometimes not quite aware of what he's saying, and thinks out loud.
Ability to portray an eccentric and expressive but not exaggerated performance fit for radio is required!
