Bread is Dead
Garrett Niall for Bread
The star of the show, the front-lining loaf of the film!
Bread is whimsical, blunt, spontaneous, and has a chaotic spark that swings from dumb to divine. He's a very practical character to the point it seems like he has no internal monologue, but his simplicity is his superpower. He usually comes off as carbs-for-brains (not entirely wrong) but he's still the most carefree and loveable slice to run around the Foodiverse
Voice Inspiration and Guidelines:
Think: Spongebob's early day voice acting (the performance not pitch), it had a flow that was down to earth, immersive, expressive, funny, and authentic!
1. Unapologetic explosion of inner thoughts, emotional versatility, impulsive wonder and novelty, and ADHD
2. Bread is unhinged and funny without trying too hard, all about delivery, not volume! even though bread can sometimes yell so loud it breaks the light barrier
3. I don't have a specific vision for how he sounds, but in the realm of: younger, masculine leaning or androgynous, more goofy or just a normal voice, and most importantly blunt and funny. Versatility between all would be ideal. I'd love to hear any and all interpretations of the little guy!
