Knuckles is the proud and powerful guardian of the Master Emerald. Stoic, short-tempered, and incredibly strong, he's often serious, prioritizing his duty above all else. While fiercely independent and sometimes gruff, he possesses a deep sense of honor. He can be gullible, easily tricked by Dr. Eggman, which often puts him at odds with Sonic. In the first episode, we see his intense focus on protecting the Master Emerald, leading to his accidental transportation to Earth along with his rival and friends.
